  2. I think the balance and variety in this go together very well. You have different looking parts in this piece, but they're all unified and don't clash. Im not sure what you're trying to say exactly, but I get the symbol of "silence" or "isolation". It just doesn't seem like a very happy piece to me, but i like that about it. Basically, I think everything is working in this piece. You have the hidden words that show just enough, the bird looks really good (I don't have to guess, I can tell it's a hummingbird), and the texture makes it not be boring. I don't really have any critisicms about it except that it feels a little heavier at the bottom and a lot lighter at the top, but since it's the sky and a bird is associated with flight, it goes with this painting. Good job, I really like this one!
